H. Praia da Nazaré
For the Hotel Praia, at Nazaré, Portugal, we came across an artistic idea, inspired by the sea, by the fishing and by its specific working tools. All these items are easy to find in a little town like Nazaré, but we transformed them creatively. All the art pieces of this hotel, whether they are placed, in the rooms or in the public areas, are meant to illustrate the idea we had in mind and they are performed in several art forms such as sculpture, oil painting and mix technique, and tile work. So we appreciate works that exploit the plasticity of elements from the fisher world such as buoys, ropes and nets. Our concept “Art in Architecture“ can be seen through the work we present at this hotel, crossing art and interior architecture.
